Hello, my small children's books house is called CarryUsOff Books (www.carryusoffbooks.com). Our first picture e-book will be launched very soon, and we hope it'll encourage quiet & shy children to embrace their special selves and go after their dreams in this world filled with clamour.

We are based in Singapore. I am the writer/publisher and everyone is welcome to contact me through Facebook and Twitter.

Here's our website: www.carryusoffbooks.com
And my weekly blog on children's literature: www.carryusoffbooks.com/blog.html

Thank you!

Best Wishes,
Claudine

Resilient Publishing - Finding Gems Among the Pebbles

Resilient believes that authors are artists. Every piece of work with our name on it is part of us. With every published work, we make ourselves targets for the world of readers.
No author, not even in a book the length of War and Peace, can describe and cover all of the aspects of a society and the people with which he or she populates that culture. Authors provide bits and pieces of a world that will evoke a fuller picture of that society and the characters they create. The inherent problem with this very necessary technique is that it can fail for two reasons. Sometimes it is the fault of the author, but many times it is because a readers' mindset, background, or knowledge base is such that the reader cannot relate to the feeling of that society. The reader immediately says that the society and the characters are "cardboard" or many other derogatory remarks.

A writer must be resilient in their effort to succeed if they are to become a success. A few tomatoes may be tossed at you with the roses. Hopefully, our name will remind you to wipe off your face, take a bow, and continue the journey to becoming a bestselling author.

Self-published writers have a bad reputation as having substandard work. It is Resilient’s goal to find the gems among the rubble. Each and every submission will be carefully considered. With the right amount of polish, a proper display case, and a few well placed blows from a hammer & chisel, your treasure will be ready to be shared with the literary community.

It is our goal to have dozens of gems displayed next to Lynn Hardy’s series when Prophecy of the Flame - the movie based on her first book debuts in 2013. This nationwide film will draw attention to Resilient Publishing and the precious masterpieces that laid beneath the rubble of self-published junk.

Dancing With Bear Publishing has opened its virtual doors. There will be a launch party later on, but we are accepting submissions now. We are a full service publisher who offers 50% royalties to our authors. So come on over to the sweet side of being an author and experience something different! Unpublished and published authors are welcome.
