I'm the author of the YA fantasy series ALLON. What started as a mother fulfilling the request of her daughter for a story turned into a mission to give kids hope.

Seth Salvadore-Knight knew that his family wasn’t exactly “normal,” but he didn’t think his life was really all that different from other seventeen-year-olds’. There were no unusual difficulties in his life, just the average problems all teenagers experienced. That was, until he and his family moved to the town of Madison. Almost instantly the hatred began to show, through violent attacks against him, his family, and his friends. It is this violence, this hatred, that will forever change his life and the lives of those closest to him.

Leaving Family Behind By Jerome Peterson

About the Book

From Lithuania to Philadelphia, Leaving Family Behind tells of two immigrants’ historical journey in the early 1900s. It is a story where Jonas and Evelina Violettskus will stop at nothing in pursuit of their individual dreams.

Evelina rebels when her older brother forces her to abandon her goal to be a pianist, so he can accomplish his own dream of purchasing farmland in America. Thus begins a bitter sibling rivalry that affects their epic odyssey of self-discovery.

Jonas expects Evelina to leave home and country behind, travel thousands of miles through Eastern Europe, and then cross the Atlantic Ocean with a smile on her face and gratefulness in her heart. When she doesn’t react this way, their feud begins.

Dreams are important and can guide us in life. But when dreams clash, are they worth the risk of hurting loved ones and causing bitterness that could last forever?

“I was entranced … This is a great read and I highly recommend it.” – Darya Crockett, Coastal Editing

“Jerome Peterson stands out with one wonderful novel after another … He gives us heroes to root for, characters who stay with us long after we close the book, and ever and always, vivid prose alive on the page.” – Bill Manville, New York Daily News

<p><span class="font-size-3"><strong>Review</strong></span></p>
<p><span class="font-size-3">`Pestilence- is a multi layered plot at which the British truly excel. The characters, from the rustic villager, quaint old ladies, harried doctors, conniving officials, suspicious military types people the pages of this fast moving thriller. Porter-s economical use of language, the simplicity of words readily evoke both tumultuous and more benign moods. There is one hilarious scene as two entwined lovers fall for each other. The valve radio just happens to play songs which are so appropriate to the scene which through perspicacious attention Mr Porter portrays with aplomb.</span></p>
<p><span class="font-size-3">The research is excellent, the imagery, the scenes are easily conjured for our minds to create a satisfying mystery. The reprehensible plot hatched by heinous minds is just a part of the mosaic where lives are promiscuously gambled with. Worse lives become expendable as sinister and deviousness individuals would try and use the deaths of too many of the innocent for their own shady ends a decade after the Messerschmitt-s crash to realize their dark intent. Sinister forces are indeed festering malignantly in the background. </span><br /><br /><span class="font-size-3">Lutz Barz</span></p>

4RV Publishing are now able to accept pre-orders for my forthcoming release Wolf, due for release in June 2011.Wolf is a tense adventure story, aimed at readers in the teen/young adult market, but is suitable for readers of all ages.

The gray wolf is now, sadly, on the endangered species list, and I hope that Wolf will go some way towards educating people as to the qualities of this noble beast. How sad it would be if our children and grandchildren one day find that the only way they can see a wolf is through pictures, or a stuffed inanimate animal in a natural history museum.

About Wolf

Living the good life in their cabin close to the forest, Warren and Emma are disturbed to find their livestock disappearing in the night. Tracks in the snow lead them to believe their chickens may have fallen victim to a marauding wolf, and Warren sets out to track down the uninvited predator. What he discovers, as the snow begins to fall and he draws ever closer to his prey, will surprise and delight the reader as the truth about the wolf in the night reveals itself, changing Warren’s life for ever!

“A story full of soul, exploration, nature, and wolfish delight.”

Graeme S Houston, author and publisher

To pre-order a copy of Wolf, please go to 4RV Publishing where it can be ordered for just $12.55. The book will then be dispatched as soon as it becomes available from the publisher.

My recent release is a fantasy/paranormal romance entitled Tears on a Tranquil Lake, published by MuseItUp Publishing.

Blurb:
What a surprise for a young woman, to find herself suddenly transformed into a mermaid.

Ciel’s first thought – track down the merman who changed her and make him reverse his magic. Unable to find him, survival in her new world becomes paramount. She eagerly accepts help from a dashing pirate captain who takes a fancy to her, lavishing her with finery. When her merman does show up, he competes for her affection. One look into his eyes makes her life more complex -- he is her soul mate.

Which man will she choose – pirate captain or merman? Which life – human or mermaid? Caribbean adventures and dangers chase Ciel as she searches for decisions and the key to her happiness.

Warning: This book contains Haitian vodou, sultry wenches, foul-mouthed scalliwag pirates, overindulgence of fine Caribbean rum, and amorous encounters on deserted beaches.

I don't think the other post survived my random movements to get data. Here's a link to the trailer. Keep in mind the book isn't available quite yet. But very soon.
