I'm using FastPencil :-)
I will make my best royalties there compared to the distribution venues I'll have: Amazon, Barnes & Noble, iPad...
Once it's published by FastPencil, I will, since I'll still own the…"
Yes, LSI can get you into all the same venues as other subsidy publishers. Most subsidy publishers actually run the job through LSI and mark up the price to you. I don't believe I can upload files here, but I'll send you all the price lists and documents I have for LSI via email in a few moments.
Glad to be of assistance. Those of us in the business for many years are pulling out hair out at the harm subsidy firms are wreaking on authors.
Any firm that pays you a "royalty" will cost you more than Lightning Source. I plugged in some generic numbers to FastPencil: 5.5 x 8.5 trim size, BW interior, 200 pages, Creme paper. FastPencil returned a price of $8.90 per book. The same book at Lightning Source costs $3.50 for wholesale orders and $3.90 for publisher direct orders. Plus, at Lightning Source, you can set your retail discount to 20% off the cover price.
